An Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and Relate qualified, I offer extensive experience as a relationship counsellor and therapist – and provide a safe environment in which those looking to resolve distress in their personal lives and relationships can explore and think about their problem with a professional.

If your difficulties relate to your personal life, past or present, then individual therapy is likely to be appropriate. On the other hand if the problem is more to do with your relationship with your partner, you may decide you want to come together for couple counselling. It could be that you are undecided and want to come on your own in the first instance, in order to work out the best way forward and decide what you want to do next.

I run a busy and varied private practice on the Mid Wales/Shropshire borders where I see all my private clients as well as offering a service as an Associate for a number of Employment Assistance Providers. Telephone counselling may be an option for some people who have difficulty accessing face-to-face counselling. I also undertake Clinical Supervision for both qualified counsellors and for those in training.

I work in an integrated way utilising Psychodynamic, Systemic and Adlerian theoretical concepts to underpin my work, which means using both conscious and unconscious ideas to explore and think with my clients about their problems – placing them in their context to increase understanding. My style is reflective and respectful whilst also being collaborative and interactive. I enjoy the work I do and feel hugely privileged to share in the courageous and rewarding changes people sometimes choose to make to their lives.
